SUMMARY

MAY 1987 UNIT ONE Unit One began the month operating at about 65% power for fuel conservation.

At 2120 hours0.0245 days <br />0.589 hours <br />0.00351 weeks <br />8.0666e-4 months <br /> on the seventeenth, power was reduced to 38% to conduct maintenance on the main turbine generator electro-hydraulic system controls which had sustained some lightning damage.

At 2225 hours0.0258 days <br />0.618 hours <br />0.00368 weeks <br />8.466125e-4 months <br /> on the seventeenth, the turbine tripped off line due to problems with the lightning damaged equipment.

The turbine was placed back on line at 1739 hours0.0201 days <br />0.483 hours <br />0.00288 weeks <br />6.616895e-4 months <br /> on the eighteenth and the unit reached 65% full power at 0400 hours0.00463 days <br />0.111 hours <br />6.613757e-4 weeks <br />1.522e-4 months <br /> on the nineteenth.

At 0200 hours0.00231 days <br />0.0556 hours <br />3.306878e-4 weeks <br />7.61e-5 months <br /> on the twenty-eighth, power was reduced to about 40% due to a main feedwater pump trip.
