Dear Sir or Madam:
Entergy submitted by letter (Reference 1, and supplemental letters, References 2 and 3) a request for a change to the Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit 1 (ANO-1) Technical Specifications (TSs) that supported a modification to a portion of the ANO-1 spent fuel pool racks.
The modification would have allowed the insertion of Metamic poison panels.
As a result of unexpected design challenges, Entergy hereby requests withdrawal of the proposed TS changes submitted by letter (References 1, 2 and 3).
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Dana Millar at 601-368-5445.
