Upon review of the questions on the Emergency Feedwater (EfW) System Upgrade Reliability Analysis in your April 21, 1982 letter (1CNA048212),
we find that an extension of the requested due date for submittal is necessary.
In order to respond to your questions, we must refer to the vendor who designed the system, Babcock & Wilcox.
Due to the amount of time necessary for B&W to reply to AP&L we propose the information be provided by August 15, 1982, rather than the date requested.
