In accordance with 10 CFR 55.45(b)(5), Entorgy Operations, Inc. hereby cortifies that the ANO Unit I simulation facility consists sololy of a plant-referenced simulator as defined in 10 CFR 55.4 and monts the Commission's regulations.
Enclosed is NRC Form 474,-Simulation Facility-Cortification, with supporting documentation as described in Appendix A of ANSI /ANS3.5-1985. Also onclosed is-a descriptton of t.ho one exception-to ANSI /ANS3.5-1985.
Discropancios identified in the tost abstracts (Soction 5) will be resolved

EXCEPTION TO ANSI /ANS-3.5, 1985 Section 3.1.2, " plant Malfunctions", contains list of malfunctions that shall be included in the simulator and specifie i in item 12 the ability to simulate control rod failures including uncoupled rod and drif ting rods be provided. The Unit 1 simulator does not presently have that specific capability, but our present capabilities in the area of rod malfunctions are more than adequate to provide the operators with the necessary training related to rod operations.
