Your Mr. Guy Vissing sent to AP&L correspondence dated July 15, 1982, (0CNA078208) which summarized the results of a June, 1982. meeting between NRC, EG&G and AP&L to attempt to resolve the outstanding A pendix I issues

for ANO-1&2.
Our goal was to make a revised Appendix I sutmittal to NRC by November 30, 1982.
As requested by Mr. Vissing, EG&G was cleared to talk directly with our radiochemistry personnel at ANO to discuss EG&G's comments regarding our Appendix I rewrite.
As a result of a five (5) hour conference call on November 22, 1982, wherein numerous additional changes were requested on the Operations and Environmental sections that were not discussed in the June 1982, meeting, we now find that the original response date cannot be met.
In order to give proper consideration to EG&G's requested changes, many of which are new and/or expanded in scope and now require a significantly OON increased level of effort by our plant personnel to address, we are requesting that our response date be revised to February 28, 1983.
