This event constitutes a violation of Section 3.3.3.6 and is considered reportable under Section 6.9.1.8(b) of the Interim Recovery Technical Specifications.

This LER is being submitted af ter the thirty (30) day Tech Spec require-ment as discussed by Mr. S. D. Chaplin of TMI-2 Licensing and Mr. R. J.

Conte, Senior Resident Inspector (TMI-2), U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on December 30, 1981.
