§ RE: License Renewal Application § For Facility Operating License Nos. § NPF-87 AND NPF-89 § DECLARATION OF AUTHORIZED OFFICER OF CITIZENS FOR FAIR UTILITY REGULATION IN SUPPORT OF LEAVE TO INTERVENE IN COMANCHE PEAK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENCE RENEWAL APPLICATION PROCEEDING

1. My name is Lon Burnam. I live at 2103 Sixth Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76110. I am at least 18 years of age and of sound mind.
2. I am one of the original founder of and the current leader for Citizens for Fair Utility Regulation (CFUR), a non-profit advocacy organization founded in the late 1970s and located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. In my capacity as founder and official authorized officer and organizer for this group, I am authorized to sign this declaration.
3. CFUR opposes the pending license renewal application from Vistra Operations Company, LLC, for a 20-year extension for operations of the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Granbury, Texas.
4. To ensure that CFURs members and the general public are adequately protected in respect to Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plants pending license renewal application, CFUR seeks leave to intervene in these NRC proceedings on behalf of its members, whose individual declarations are attached.
5. CFUR intends, on behalf of its members, to take legal actions necessary to ensure the fairness and integrity of the license renewal proceedings and to have the NRC consider all issues bearing on the safety and health of its members, the broader public, and the physical environment.

I hereby declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing facts are true and correct and that any expression of opinion are based on my judgment.
