Please note that when radiographere follow the source-change procedure
described in Item 22. of Section G. Chapter 14 of your manual, they should
have a second, calibrated survey instrument available to them. If the new
source does not retract into the exposure device properly, the radiographern
should not need to approach the source in order to retrieve the survey
instrument.
