FORTHCOMING MEETING WITH THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY (TVA) TO DISCUSS BROWNS FERRY EXTENDED POWER UPRATE

DATE & TIME: Thursday, August 7, 2008 10:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

LOCATION: U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room O-11B2 Rockville, Maryland

PURPOSE: This meeting is to discuss the schedule for obtaining the outstanding information needed to support completion of the Units 2 and 3 Browns Ferry extended power uprate fuel review. Proprietary information may be discussed at certain times during this meeting. These portions of the meeting will be closed to members of the public who have not been granted access to the information by the owner of the information.

CATEGORY 1:

  • This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.

PARTICIPANTS: Participants from the NRC include members of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR).
