March 27, 2017 U.S. Department of Homeland Security Region V 536 South Clark Street, 6th Floor Chicago, lL 60605 FEMA The State of Indiana has requested Federal participation at the Indiana Ingestion Radiological Emergency Preparedness (REP) exercise held in conjunction with the D.C. Cook Plume Exercise scheduled for the week of June 3-7, 2019. The REP exercise will be both a plume phase and ingestion pathway exercise with full participation from the State of Indiana Emergency Operations Center and the Indiana Department of Health Radiochemistry Lab, and the Counties of Elkhart, Jasper, Kosciusko,

LaGrange, Lake, LaPorte,
Marshall, Porter, St. Joseph, and Starke. There are secondary counties in northern Indiana that may participate on a partial basis. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission-Rill is requested to provide a Federal Advisory Team member to participate with Indiana on June 4-5, 2019. The Federal Advisory Team members would interact with and support various exercise operations, including the analysis and interpretation of radiological data. If there is an interest in providing a Federal Advisory Team member for the 2019 Indiana Ingestion
