Theturbinewasreset,testrun,anddeclaredoperable.

AreviewofISItestdatasheetsindicated thattheTurbineDrivenAuxiliary FeedPumphadnotmettheminimumrequireddischarge pressure.

Sincethe72hourtimeintervalforan"inoperable pump"specified intheActionstatement hadbeenexceeded, thepumphadtobeprovenoperableortheunitplacedinhotstandbywithinonehour.Unloading oftheunitwasinitiated whileretesting ofthepumpwasunderway.Unitunloading wasstoppedat97'/whenthepumpwasprovenoperable.

Theunitwasreloadedto1005power.Totaltimebelow100%powerwas1.25hours.TheSteamJetAirEjectorRadiation MonitorR-15wasremovedfromserviceat1004formoistureproofingofthedetectortube.'Thisdetectorwasreturnedtoserviceat0917,5/29/80.VentStackRadiation MonitorR-25wasinoperable fora.4.75hourperiodforreplacement oftheFilterDriveMotor.5/31/80-A1%loadreduction wasexperienced following turbinevalvetesting.Theloadcouldnotbereturnedto100Ãduetoafalseindication ofth'eturbineoperating device 8

Theresetactionoflevelcontroller LC-459wasremovedandflowcontroller FC-121gainwasreduced.Thecontrolsystemnowrespondsandmaintains pressurizer levelatthepro-grammedsetpoint.Steamgenerator levelprotection setIII,steamgenerator No.3levellow-lowandhighlevelbistableLB-538AlB requiredreplacement duetoadriftprobleminthehighalarmsetpoint.Asparebistablewasinstalled andsurveillance test2THP4030STP~117wasperformed toverifythechannel's operability.

Icecondenser temperature recorderSG-017indicated offscaleatthelowendoftravel.Theservomotor,pointselectorswitchandpendriveamplifier cardwerereplaced.

,Therecorderwascalibrated per12THP6030IMP.079andreturnedtoservice.C&I-4CSI-5Thecomparator andratedrawerchannelsforthenuclearinstrumentation systemdisplayed adeviation alarm.Thealarmwaspresentwiththedeviation between.channels lessthantherequiredsetpoint.Thebistablecardforchanneldeviation alarmactuation wasreplacedwithasparecardandthecalibration ofthebistablewasperformed.

Radiation Monitoring SystemChannelRll,containment airparticulate monitor,airpumptrippedwithoutproducing analarminthecontrolroom.Thealarmbulbhadbeenreplacedwithaneontypewhichwasincorrect.

Afilamenttypebulbwasinstalled andoperatedproperly.

Theairpumpwastrippingonlowairflow.Theairflowindication rotometer requiredreplacement.

Thealarmunitwascalibrated forcorrectsetpointsandtheairflowratewasadjustedfor10cfmflow.

Pressurecontrolthenwassatisfactory.
