Thesafetyevaluation requested thatwerespondtobothopenitemsbyAugust1,1990.Section2.1.2ofthesafetyevaluation statesthattheissueofAppendixAbarrierswillbeaddressed uponreceiptofatechnical specification amendment application ordocumentation ofplantprocedures providing anequivalent degreeofprotection.

Wehaveelectedtocloseoutopenitems1and21byimplementing plantprocedures thatwillprovideanequivalent degreeofprotection.

Therequiredplantprocedures arescheduled forimplementation byNovember1,1990.Thisletterhasbeenpreparedfollowing Corporate procedures thatincorporate areasonable setofcontrolstoensureitsaccuracyandcompleteness priortosignature bytheundersigned.
