This is a Open meeting. Public participation is actively sought for this meeting to fully engage the public in a discussion of regulatory issues.

Purpose:

This is the first of two meetings for the 2025 NRC Standards Forum. This meeting will discuss the current state of codes and standards (C&S) and capture stakeholder perspectives to discuss in more detail during the second meeting. The Forum aims at facilitating strategic discussions on C&S needs and priorities, accelerating C&S development, and NRC endorsement efficiencies. The Forum is an interactive meeting that engages a variety of stakeholders, such as standards development organizations (e.g. ACI, AISC, ANS, ASCE, ASME, IEEE, etc.), industry representatives, international regulators, research organizations, academia, the general public, and NRC staff.
