Accession No. ML24095A255), Kairos Power, LLC (Kairos) submitted for U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff review Topical Report (TR) KP-TR-024-P, KP-FHR Core Design and Analysis Methodology. By letter dated June 17, 2025 Kairos submitted Revision 1 of KP-TR-024-P (ML25168A340). Based on its review of the information submitted in Revision 1 of this TR, the NRC staff finds that KP-TR-024-P, Revision 1 is acceptable for referencing subject to the limitations specified in the TR and in the NRC safety evaluation (SE).
A copy of the draft SE has been placed in the NRC box folder to which you and Joe-Nimique Cilliers have been given access. The draft SE is being provided for a proprietary information review. Pursuant to Section 2.390 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), we have determined that the draft SE may contain proprietary export-controlled information. If Kairos identifies any proprietary export-controlled information in the draft SE, please identify such information line-by-line and define the basis pursuant to the criteria of 10 CFR 2.390. Use double brackets and yellow highlight to identify any
