This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Purpose:
The purpose of the meeting between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) is to discuss a proposed emergency license amendment request for Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, Unit 3, regarding a one-time change to Technical Specification 3.1.7, "Standby Liquid Control (SLC) System," Condition B for two subsystems inoperable.
