Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation Supplement to 180-Day Response to NRC Request for Information Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(f) Regarding Recommendation 2.3 (Seismic) of the Near-Term Task Force Review of Insights from the Fukushima Dai-ichi Accident
Subject:
Gentlemen:
On November 27, 2012, Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation (WCNOC) transmitted Reference 3 in response to Reference 1, Enclosure 3, "Recommendation 2.3: Seismic" to address seismic walkdowns for Wolf Creek Generating Station (WCGS). Tables 3-7 and 3-8 in the enclosure to Reference 3 identified areas that were unable to be inspected due to inaccessibility during at-power seismic walkdowns, and a schedule for completion of the walkdowns.

ET 13-0021 Page 2 of 3 During the refueling outage beginning in February, 2013, WCNOC completed all of the walkdowns identified in Tables 3-7 and 3-8 of Reference 3 with the exception of one item, which was subsequently removed from the Seismic Walkdown Equipment List because the item was identified as non-safety related.
The enclosure to this letter incorporates the results from the additional walkdowns and supplements the enclosure to Reference 3.
In total, Reference 2, Reference 3 and this letter complete WCNOC's final response to Reference 1, Enclosure 3, "Recommendation 2.3:
Seismic" for WCGS.
This letter contains no new commitments. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please contact me at (620) 364-4085, or Mr. Michael J. Westman at (620) 364-4009.
Sincerely, John P. Broschak JPB/rlt
