July 29, 2013 MEMORANDUM TO THE PARTIES IN:
ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC.
(Indian Point Nuclear Generating Units 2 and 3)
DOCKET NOS. 50-247-LR and 50-286-LR This is to inform the parties that Commissioner William C. Ostendorff will tour Indian Point Nuclear Generating Units 2 and 3 on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, and Wednesday, July 31, 2013. This is a routine site visit to obtain a general familiarity with the facility. The Commissioner will not engage in any substantive discussion during the site visit about any of the issues that have been raised in the ongoing adjudication associated with the license renewal application for Indian Point Nuclear Generating Units 2 and 3.
On July 30, 2013, Commissioner Ostendorff will meet with representatives of Riverkeeper, Inc. This meeting will focus on issues of general concern to Riverkeeper and will not include any substantive discussion of contested issues. In addition, on July 31, 2013, Commissioner Ostendorff will meet with representatives of Westchester County. This meeting will focus on issues of general concern to Westchester County and will not include any substantive discussion of contested issues.
