7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION DOCKET NO. 50-335 FLORIDA POWER 5 LIGHT COMPANY NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT TO FACILITY OPE TIN LICENSE The U.
S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the facility) has issued Amendment No. 30 to Facility Operating License No.
DPR-67, issued to Florida Power 5 Light Company (the licensee),
which revised the license for operation of the St.
Lucie Plant, Unit No.
1 (the facility), located in St. Lucie County, Florida.
The amendment j's effective as of the date of issuance.
The amendment modifies the license to include the current Commission-approved physical security plan.
The licensee's filing complies with the standards and require-ments of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act), and the Coranission's rules and regulations.
The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license amendment.
Prior public notice of this amendment was not required since the amendment does not involve a significant hazards consideration.

7590-01 The Commission has determined that the issuance of this amendment will not result in any significant environmental impact and that pursuant to 10 CFR 551.5(d)(4) an environmental impact statement or negative declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of this amendment.
The licensee's filing dated October 18, 1978, revised February 20, 1979, and the Commission's Security Plan Evaluation Report are being withheld from public disclosure pursuant to 10 CFR 2.790(d).
The withheld information is subject to disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 59.12.
