Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1 Docket No. 50-346, License No. NPF-3 Docket No. 72-14 Spent Fuel Storage Casks Registration 5501 North State Route 2 Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449 419-321-7676 Fax: 419-321-7582 10 CFR 72.212 In accordance with the registration requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2), FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company (FENOC) is providing the enclosed information to register the spent fuel storage casks at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS) independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI).
The applicable Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the DBNPS ISFSI is Transnuclear Americas (TN) LLC CoC 1004. Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.214, Revision 1 of CoC 1004 superseded the approved amendments of this CoC and became effective on April 25, 2017. This letter also serves as notification per the requirements of 10 CFR 72.212(b)(4), that the DBNPS ISFSI has implemented Revision 1 to the respective amendments of CoC 1004 for the previously loaded spent fuel storage casks.
