SUBJECT:

SUNiARY OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW MEETING HELD WITH FP&L OH FEBRUARY 18, 1981 A tour of the site was made to observe possible design changes since the environmental review for the construction permit was performed.

In particular, the site was examined for the turtle nesting sampling areas, the locations of the plant species Acrostichum aureum, the intake and discharge areas and the emergency intake structure.

e copter tour was also made over the site and vicinity and along the ocean beach and ttud Greek areas.

A series of questions previously provided to FP&L on demography, socioeconomic impacts and the environmental impacts (aquatic and terrestrial) of plant operation mostly as they relate to the site were discussed by the staff to ensure FP&L understood the information needed to answer our questions.
