Kenneth W Berry Director Nuclear Licensing ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO IE INSPECTION REPORT 85-018; C011MITMENT REVISION Consumers Power Company letter dated October 18, 1985 provided our response to the violations contained in IE Inspection Report 85-018.
In partial response to Item 2 in the Notice of Violation, we committed to increasing the knowledge of plant engineers regarding applicable IEEE Standards by conducting a train-ing session by April 30, 1986.
While the primar~*corrective action of emphasizing the appropriate use of design documents and governing standards to plant engineers has been complet-ed, we will be unable to meet the committed date of April 30, 1986 for specif-ic IEEE standard training.
We now expect to complete this training by June 30, 1986.
