86-027B 50-281 DPR-37 In a letter dated February 7, 1986 (Serial No.86-027), we requested a specific exemption for Unit 2
from
- 10CFR50, Appendix J, Section III.A.6(b), which requires a Type A test every refueling shutdown, until two consecutive Type A tests meet the acceptance criteria of Section III.D of 10CFR50, Appendix J.
Based on recent problems associated with operation of the Containment Sump Isolation Valves in Unit No. 1, we have re-evaluated our position and are withdrawing our 10CFR50, Appendix J Type A test exemption request for Unit No. 2.
