DECISI0'l TO ACCELERATE PREPARATI0!l 0F EllVIRO'lltE:lTAL IltPACT STATE!EllT Oil TMI-2 CLENIUP This memorandum confirms our conversation regarding your March 18 memorandum that addresses acceleration of the impact statement relating to TMI-2 cleanup.
I have decided that ycu should take the necessary steps to accelerate the schedule so the FES publication occurs by September 19, 1980. In implement-ing this decision you should ensure the final product has the necessary quality.
I understand your office will make available su?'icient staff and dollar resources in FY 30 ($0.2 million and several staff months) to support this acceleration.
