RE:

IE:II:TNE 50-269, -270, -287

Dear Mr. Moseley:

Our letter of July 9, 1976, submitted in response to IE Inspection Report 50-269, -270, -287/76-5 and as a supplemental response to IE Inspection Report 50-269, -270, -287/76-2 stated that samples of the ventilation air leaving the Oconee Nuclear Station Radioactive Waste Management Building will be analyzed on a daily basis for iodine and particulate activity.

Subsequent review of this requirement with NRC/0IE personnel has determined that a weekly frequency is adequate for this type of monitoring.

This requirement has therefore been changed and monitoring of these ventilation air samples on a weekly basis has been implemented.

Very truly yours, y

t-J I
