Identification and Description of Occurrence:

River water temperature rise peaked at 5.1 F d/t. Computer. river temperature predictions gave no indication that the 5.0 F d/t limit would be violated.

This report is applicable to units 2 and 3 also.

Conditions'P *sr to Occurrence:

I Unit 1 @ 97% prior to the 9/28/80 occurrence; 82% during 9/29/80 occurrence.

Unit 2 @ refuel outage

Unit 3 @ 99% prior to the 9/28/80, occurrence; 100% during the 9/29/80 occurrence.

Action specified in the Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements met i

Apparent Cause of Occurrence:

Computer river temperature Pv. dictions were incorrect.
