PUBLIC SERVICE OF INDIANA (L I) SUBCONTRACTORS Public Sersice of Indiana was notified today, December 5,1980, that the Director of the Of fice of Inspection and Enforcement had authorized resumption of limited electrical and mechanical / piping work for PSI mechanical subcontractor Cherne Contracting Corporation (CCC) and electrical subcontractor Commonweal:h-Lord J.V.
This authorization was based on f avorable NRC inspection findings which confirmed chat appropriate corrective actions had been taken by the licensee and its subcontractors.
This PN is for information only and no further action by IE is planned.
Region III does not plan a press release, however, it is expected that the licensee will issue one. _ Considerable local media interest is expected.
The State of Indiana vill be notified.
