HARTSVILLE AND PHIPPS BEND NUCLEAR PLANTS - REPORTABLE DEFICIENCY -
STANDBY GAS TREATMENT SYSTEM CHARCOAL ADSORBER (NCR HTN NEB 80-02 AND PBN NEB 80-02)
Initial notification of the subject deficiency was made to NRC-OIE, Region II, Inspector R. W. Wright on May 8, 1980. The first interim report was submitted on June 4, 1980. However, the investigations by CTI Nuclear and the determination of corrective actions and subsequent approval by C. F. Braun have not been completed. TVA anticipates transmitting the information in the final report on or before November 26, 1980.
In compliance with paragraph 50.55(e) of 10 CFR Part 50, this report constitutes the second interin report. If you have any questions regarding this subject, please call Jim Domer at FTS 857-2014.
