3 Based on the results of an NRC inspection conducted on July 21-23, 1980, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in accordance with NRC requirements as indicated below:
i The ITT Grinnell Industrial Piping, Inc., corrective action response letter of September 13, 1979, states in part with respect to Item A in the Notice of Deviation, Inspection Report No. 79-01, ".
.a procedure is being implemented to resolve Design Specification conflicts using a sequentially numbered form to document the questions :3ked and the r.sponses received.
Copies of these forms are to be sent to the Director of Quality Assurance for the purpose of monitoring revisions to Job Specifications to preclude approval, and distribu-tion without documented resolutions to specification conflicts.
Contrary to the above, copies of these forms were not being sent to the Director of Quality Assurance for the purpose of monitoring revisions to Job Specifica-tions (See Details, B.1).
