By letter dated March 11, 1975, Consumers Power Company trans-mitted draft Technical Specifications for the Big Rock Point Plant.
These specifications reflected revisions to an earlier submittal based on discussions with members of the Regulatory Staff.
The plant staff has completed their review of the proposed TechnicL1 Specifications submitted March 11, 1975 Based on this re-view, they have recommended numerous changes to these specifications, mostly minor in nature, to correct typographical or editorial errors.
These pages requiring change are submitted attached, labeled "Rev C, 5/21/75." The individual pages should be substituted for the identi-cally numbered pages in the specifications transmitted March 11, 1975 Information regarding primary coolant system heat-up and cooldown rate limitations consistent with Appendix G to 10 CFR 50 has been included in these specifications.
The re-evaluations of the battery discharge limit contained in the specifications submitted March 11, 1975 are not yet complete. We estimate that they vill be complete in about two months. This added delay is due to a need to consult with the battery vendor regarding the capacity of the battery with varying load profiles.
