In accordance with the requirements of paragraph 6.10(3)(b) of the Technien1 Specifications for the WSU modified TRIGA reactor and under the provisions of Section 5.90 of 10 CFR 30, application is hereby submitted to amend the Technical Specifications of Facility License No. R-76.
The specific purpose of this amendment is to replace the present non-conservation specifications for the maximum allowable pulse insertion with a new limit based on more recent information on the limiting safety factors relating to pulsing in a TRIGA reactor field with FL1P fuel.
The new proposed wording for Section 3.3 of the Technical Specifications is attached.
