This refers to the special safety inspection conducted by Dr. W. J. Adam and Mr. J. L. Lynch of this office on June 23, 1981, of activities at Iowa Methodist Hospital authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 14-01918-03 and to the discussion of our findings with you and Mr. Myron Goede at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. The inspection consisted of a selective examination of pro-cedures and rrpresentative records, observations, independent measure-ments, and interviews with personnel. Also reviewed during this inspection was the incident described in your letter dated June 23, 1981. We have no further questions regarding this matter.
Ne items of noncompliance with NRC requirements were identified during the course of this inspection.
We will gladly discuss any questions you have concerning this inspection.
