This letter is to give notice that we have concurrently asked the Office of the Controller to bill your company for the rev8ew of Topical Report WCAP-9401(P)/9402(NP) entitled " Verification Testing and Analyses of the We understand that this re 17 x 11 Aptimized Fuel Assembly". submitted to the Office of Huclear Reactor Regu for review on March 30, 1979 and April 27, 1979, and that the ONRR staff completed the review of the report on May 7, 1981.
Fees for this review are in accordance with 10 CFR 170.21, Category F - Special Projects and Reviews.
Tt.e total cost to be billed to Westinghouse is $20,000. The review costs for topical and other reports are based on $39 per professional man-hour expended for the review plus any associated contractual services costs.
Although the review for your report involved 723.5 professional man-hours and $1,424 in contractual costs amounting to a total of $29,640.50, the

maximum chargeable pursuant to 10 CFR 170.21(a)F for a topical report is
$20,000. The invoice for this amount will be sent to you by the Office l
of the Controller within a few days. Upon your receipt of the invoice, payment should be made tn the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and forwarded to the Office of the Controller. When making payment, please make reference to the Controller's invoice number.
