~The purpose of this submit.a1 is to request the amendmen' of Special NJclear Materials License SNM-1802 for taSalle County Station Unit 1 as -issued -by Ref erence (a) and amended by References (b) thru (e). -The orioinal application for the subject SNM license requested that'they not-expire "until the issuance of the station operating license".
Currently, tne scheduled construction completion date.for LaSalle County Unit 1 is September 15, 1981.
This-date extends beyond the current expiration date of SN-1802.
Given the potential for unforeseenable slippage in the plant
