7590-01 UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSIC.1 DOCKET NOS. 50-317 AND 318 BALTIMORE GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY NOTICE.0F ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) has issued Amendment Nos. 64 and 46 to Facility Operating Licenses Ncs. DPR-53 and DPR-69, issued to Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, which revised Technical Specifications for operation of the Calvert CliWs Nuclear Power Plant, Units Nos.1 and 2.

The amendments are effective as of the date of issuance.

These amendments revise the Technical Specifications t provide updated Limiting Conditions for Operation and Surveillance Requirements for dynamic component restraints (snubbers), delete the restriction on performance of the 60 month reserve battery capacity test, and assign the reserve battery to a capacity test load group.

The application for the amendments complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended Ithe Act), and the Commission's rules and regulations. The Commission has made appropriate findings as required by the Act and the Commission's rules and regulations in 10 CFR Chapter I, which are set forth in the license acendments.

Prior public notice of the amendments was not required since the amendments do not involve a significant hazards consideration.

declaration and environmental impact appraisal need not be prepared in connection with issuance of the amendments.

W., Washington, D'.C. and at the Calvert County Library, Prince Frederick, Maryland.
