Subject:

Report of Changes to Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure Cooper Nuclear Station, Docket No. 50-298, DPR-46

Dear Sir or Madam:

50.54(q) 72.44(f)

During a site assessment in December 2019, it was identified that a change to Cooper Nuclear Station's (CNS) emergency plan implementing procedure (EPIP) 5.7.1, Emergency Classification, was not reported to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) within 30 days of the change as required by 10 CFR 50.54(q)(5). This issue was documented in CNS' Corrective Action Program.

After further review, it was identified that three additional revisions to this EPIP were also not reported as required.

The purpose of this letter is to report a description of the changes and summary of analyses made to EPIP 5. 7.1 that were not previously reported in the last three years. The most current revision of EPIP 5.7.1 is also enclosed.

This letter contains no regulatory commitments.

If you have any questions regarding this submittal, please contact me at ( 402) 825-5416.

Sincerely,

~Jm -f!x, t. bewh,;-ir Linda Dewhirst Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager
