Completion of Follow-up Corrective Actions for Bulletin 91-01 Reportable Condition of May 21,1992 (NRC Report No. 23510)
On May 21,1992, Siemens Power Corporation (SPC) reported a criticality safety condition to the NRC Operations Center under NRC Bulletin 91-01. The condition related to the inability of SPC to be able to guarantee moderation controlin certain UO powder preparation 2
equipment under all fire fighting scenarios. A 30-day followup report issued to NRC on June 24,1992,docu _ 3d immediate corrective actions undertaken by SPC to address this issue as well as a r5ut.sr of longer range actions to be completed in the future.
The purpose of this correspondence is to report the completion of alllong term corrective actions identified in the June 24,1992 report. Documentation addressing the completion of these items was provided to Region V inspection personnel who were onsite at SPC over the week of February 8-12,1993.
