Dear Sir:
Special Report Limiting conditions for operation (LCO) 3.7.8.2 of the Trojan Technical Specifications requires that a special report be provided if a continuous fire watch is not established within 1 hour1.157407e-5 days <br />2.777778e-4 hours <br />1.653439e-6 weeks <br />3.805e-7 months <br /> when one or more of the required spray, sprinkler and/or deluge systems are inoperable.
A continuous fire watch was established while modifications involving welding were being performed on deluge systems 18 and 19.
The continuous fire watch remained on duty 30 minutes after completion of the welding. At that time, with the deluge systems still inoperable, operations personnel incorrectly established a one-hour roving fire patrol rather than a continuous fire watch.
The discrepancy was noticed during a supervisory tour approximately two hours later and a con-tinuous fire watch was immediately established.
