Per my telephone conversation with Betty Wright of your staff, enclosed is a request for issuance of an export license to authorize the shipment of enriched uranium in the form of UO2 powder to Nuclear Fuel Industries in Japan. The powdcr will be fabricated into finished fuel assemblies for Kansai Electric's plants as follows:
Mihama Unit 3 Ohi Unit 3 Takahoma Unit 2 A check for $3,000 is enclosed.
