Dear Mr. Hairston:

On January 17,1999, Region 11 implemented a staff reorganization as part of an agency-wide

streamlining effort. The reorganization was necessary because of staffing reductions in our Fiscal Year 1999 budget. The reductions resulted in the elimination of the Special Inspection l

Branch in the Division of Reactor Safety (DRS) and realignment of those functions and staff in the remaining DRS branches.

We have enclosed a copy of the organization charts for your information. If you have any questions about these changes, please contact me at (404) 562-4520.
