DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 QUALIFICATION OF RAYCHEM KIT NPKS-02-01 SDAR: CP-86-21 (INTERIM REPORT)
Dear Mr. Johnson:
On March 24, 1986, we verbally notified your Mr. T. F. Westerman of a deficiency involving possible discrepancies in vendor (Raychem) methodology for testing of environmental qualification which may render the Raychem Kit NPKS-02-01 unacceptable for specific published applications. This is an interim report of a potentially reportable item under the provision of 10CFR50.55(e). We have submitted interim reports logged TXX-4772 and TXX-4830, dated April 23, 1986, and May 28, 1986, respectively.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate submitting our next report by August 29, 1986.
Very truly yours, W. G. Co n il By:
