L On October 16, 1986, we notified you by our letter logged TXX-6027 of a deficiency involving pipe support construction which we deemed reportable under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). This is a follow-up interim report on a reportable item under provision of 10CFR50.55(e). Our last interim report l
was logged TXX-6573, dated July 20, 1987.
The physical inspections of large and small bore safety related piping for Unit 1 is continuing under the Hardware Validation Program (HVP) and i
Supplemental Inspection Checklist (SIC).
To date, over fourteen percent (14%) of the approximately 18,631 supports involved in the Unit 1 and common HVP and SIC reinspection have been completed. Our estimated completion date, as previously reported to you, is January 1,1988.
