Watters dated 4/6/87, SNM-1168, Amendment 8 Gentlemen: The Babcock & Wilcox Company, Commercial Nuclear Fuel Plant presently has a license amendment (Reference 2) in place to accommodate a shutdown period from June 15, 1987 through August 31, 1987 inclusive. It will be necessary however to extend our fuel' fabrication operations from June 15, 1987 through June 26, 1987 to allow for scheduling changes. This is in secordance'with the l conditions of the license amendment provided at least 1 working day 1 written notice is given to the Fuel Cycle Safety Branch and NRC l Region II Office in advance of the renewed licensed activities. ~ 1 I I This letter is therefore our written not' ice to resume with normal NRC licensed activities from June 15, 1987 through June 26, 1987 inclusive.
