Gentlemen:
On June 29, 1987, we verbally notified your Mr. Shannon Phillips of a potentially reportable item involving galvanic corrosion in Component' Cooling Water (CCW) and Service Water (SW) systems.
This is an interim report under the provisions of 10CFR50.55(e). Our last interim report was logged as TXX-6583, dated July 28, 1987.
Our evaluation of this issue is continuing. We expect to submit our next report by November 24, 1987.
