By e-mail dated January 29, 2021, a copy of which is appended to this issuance as Attachment A, Thomas J. Saporito, Executive Director of the Nuclear Energy Oversight Project, Inc., has brought to the attention of the Licensing Board and the participants to this proceeding a January 23, 2021 letter he submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Office of the Inspector General regarding the pending application of NextEra Energy for a subsequent license renewal for the operating licenses for Point Beach Nuclear Units 1 and 2.
That e-mail and the accompanying letter will be treated as a limited appearance statement pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.315(a) and should be entered into the docket of this proceeding as such.
