Enclosed is an application, XSOU8868, accepted by the US. Nuclear Regulatory Commission on October 31, 2024, from TAM International (U.S.), Inc., for the export of 169,300 kilograms of natural uranium in the form of uranium ore concentrate (U3O8), to Argentina for their CANDU fuel supply for consumption.
Assurances from Argentina that the material will be subject to all the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation are required. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
Please note that the material is of Canadian, Australian, and U.S. origin. Thus, it has Canadian and Australian obligations.
