sought sufficiently for the NRC to conduct a reasonable search. The Privacy Act of 1974,

as amended, 5 U.S.C. § 552a, establishes a code of fair information practices that

governs the collection, maintenance, use, and dissemination of information about

4 individuals that is maintained in systems of records by Federal agencies. Specifically,

Subpart B (Privacy Act regulations) implements the provisions of the Privacy Act of

needs this information to properly process FOIA requests that involve confidential

perform its functions? Does the information have practical utility? Please explain your

answer.

5

2. Is the estimate of the burden of the information collection accurate? Please
