REMARKS: IMC 0308, Attachment 3, Appendix F, "Technical Basis Fire Protection Significance Determination Process (Supplemental Guidance for Implementing IMC 0609, Appendix F) At Power Operations." This revision includes updating IMC 0609 Appendix F, its associated attachments, and the basis document to incorporate updated guidance for modeling transient fires per NUREG -2233, high energy arching faults per NUREG-2262, and electrical enclosure, electric motor, dry transformer and main control room fires per NUREG -2178 Volume 2. This revision also implements the heat soak method in the HRR and ZOI calculations.

This revision includes updating IMC 0609 Appendix F, its associated attachments, and the basis document to incorporate updated guidance for modeling transient fires per NUREG-2233, high energy arching faults per NUREG-2 262, and electrical enclosure, electric motor, dry transformer and main control room fires per NUREG-2178 Volume 2. This revision also implements the heat soak method in the HRR and ZOI calculations. This revision includes closure of ROP feedback forms 0609F-2423 and 0609F-2462.

This revision also implements the heat soak method in the heat release rate and zone of influence calculations.

This revision also implements the heat soak method in the HRR and ZOI calculations.

This revision includes updating IMC 0609 Appendix F, its associated attachments, and the basis document to incorporate updated guidance for modeling transient fires per NUREG 2233, high energy arching faults per NUREG-2262, and electrical enclosure, electric motor, dry transformer and main control room fires per NUREG -2178 Volume 2. This revision also implements the heat soak method in the HRR and ZOI calculations.

This revision includes updating IMC 0609 Appendix F, its associated attachments, and the basis document to incorporate updated guidance for modeling transient fires per NUREG-2233, high energy arching faults per NUREG 2262, and electrical enclosure, electric motor, dry transformer and main control room fires per NUREG-2178 Volume 2. This attachment was revised to incorporate guidance for dry transformers and to update the non-suppression probabilities/curves for high energy arching faults and the main control room using the guidance in NUREG-2262 and NUREG 2178, Vol. 2, respectively.

IMC 0609, Appendix F, Attachment 8, "Tables and Plots Supporting the Phase 2 Risk Quantification." This revision includes updating IMC 0609 Appendix F, its associated attachments, and the basis document to incorporate updated guidance for modeling transient fires per NUREG-2233, high energy arching faults per NUREG-2262, and electrical enclosure, electric motor, dry transformer and main control room fires per NUREG-2178 Volume 2. This revision also implements the heat soak method in the HRR and ZOI calculations used in table/plot sets A, D, and E. As part of the updates, the previous revisions table/plot sets D and F were combined into table/plot set D and the previous revisions table/plot sets E and G were combined into table/plot set E. As a result, all the table/plot sets in this attachment have been updated from the previous revision but the data updates in the tables and plots are not tracked for simplicity.
