1 On December 5, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. S. Phillips of a deficiency regarding the diesel generator intake silencer internals. An internal part in the intake silencer may not be welded and the potential '
l exists that the part may dislodge and be ingested into the turbocharger.
i We are in the final stages of our evaluation and anticipate completion by January 31, 1986.
