Title:
Public Meeting to Discuss Revision of Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.200 and Updates to Technical Guidance Related to Risk-Informed Activities Dates and Time: May 2, 2023, 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM EDT Location: NRC One White Flint North, room OWFN-05B04 11555 Rockville Pike Rockville, MD Category: This is an Information Meeting. In this meeting the NRC staff will discuss the plans for revisions to RG 1.200 including endorsement, with staff exceptions and clarifications, of national consensus standards for probabilistic risk assessment (PRA). The staff will also discuss plans for updates to technical guidance in NUREG-1855, Guidance on the Treatment of Uncertainties Associated with PRAs in Risk-Informed Decision Making, and NUREG-2122, Glossary of Risk-Related Terms in Support of Risk-Informed Decisionmaking. Attendees will have an opportunity to provided comments on the planned revisions and updates.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss plans for revisions to RG 1.200 and updates to technical guidance related to risk-informed activities.
