Furnished herewith are sixty-one (61) copies of Revision 12 to the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit No.1, Final Safety Analysis Report Addendum.

Seventy-five (75) copies of Revision 12, Seventy-five (75) copies of Revision 13 and Seventy-five (75) copies of Revision 14 to the SNUPPS Fital Safety Analysis Report were transmitted by References 1) through 3', , respectively.

These transmittals are hereby incorporated into the Wolf Creek Generating Station Application.

Included in Addendum Revision 12 are updates on the current organization, the meteorological model for offsite doses, the training program, the i I

I-Mr. Harold R. Denton KMLNRC 84-049 March 30, 1984 chlorine gas analysis and minor changes and/or corrections in Chapters 9 through 13. Reference 4) transmitted changes to Chapter 8. These changes have been incorporated in Revision 12 and Figures 8.2-3, 8.2-4 and 8.2-5 further modified. Reference 5) transmitted changes to Chapter 17.

These changes are incorporated in Revision 12, along with additional changes to Chapter 17 as summarized in Attachment I. Reference 6) transmitted changes to the preoperational test program. These changes as well as additional Chapter 14 changes are included in this revision.

References 7) .through 9) state that modifications to the Emergency Plan will be- made in Revision 12. These changes have been delayed to Revision 13 to accommodate and incorporate additional changes to the

-Emergency Plan resulting from the Wolf Creek ASLB Hearings.

(; j. Changes to FSAR Chapter 17.0

'KMLNRS84-004 dated 1/13/84 transmitted to the NRC changes to the Wolf Creek Operating Quality Program described in FSAR Section 17.2. Further changes are included in the enclosed Revision 12 of the FSAR. These additional changes are. summarized as follows:

1. Organizational Changes

a. The Quality Division has been renamed the Quality Branch.

This change appears throughout the section,

b. The Director Nuclear _ Operations' organization has changed as described-in Section 17.2.17 and Figure 17.2-2.

c. The Manager Nuclear Plant Engineering's organization has changed as shown on Figure 17.2-2.

2. Changes Resulting from NRC Review of Attachment to KMLNRC 84-004.

a. Section 17.2.17.1 - regulations was changed to Regulatory Guides.

b. Table'17 2 Wolf Creek. Project Policy Manual description was clarified and the Nuclear Department General Procedures description was added.

KG&E believes that the above additional changes do not reduce commitments in the 0perating Quality Program previously accepted by-the NRC.
